Another open hotspot in Stockholm

James is using 85.226.72.60 as his new hub for vandalizing Wikipedia.

Just because he uses OpenWRT code doesn't mean they don't suck

Those sons-of-bitches over at OpenWRT have messed with James for the very last time. They think they can hide their code from him? Bull-SHIT! James knows that their code is licensed via the GPL, and as such they have to let him do whatever he wants with their code.

To clarify: the GPL doesn't apply to James, because Sveasoft does not distribute firmware. We (I) distribute a "user-space" that just happens to include firmware. It's obvious that James is correct and that the people at OpenWRT are wrong.

So, as revenge, James has registered the domains open-wrt.com, open-wrt.net, and open-wrt.org.

Wolf

Today, there was a "falling out" between myself and James that has been building for the last several weeks.

James and I recently went in on a new hardware deveopment venture to make extra money for Sveasoft. About 3 weeks ago James reduced communication to one-liner answers in PMs. Today we had a short one-liner exchange from this morning until a few hours ago, consisting of me asking him to call, and him simply replying with single-line questions such as (paraphrased) "What about?". I answered this question several times, but kept having it repeated to me in one form or another. I finally decided that it was time to end the partnership, which I received a swift ban from sveasoft.com for.

As of now, there is only one developer working for the project - James.

I am done with firmware deveopment and anything related. I will continue to offer the products and services I have been with my consulting business. I hope this message will awaken people to the details of what happened. I doubt James will post a reply, more likely I'll be banned here too. Goodbye ya'll.
